Why We're Here: Our Purpose

Everything that we do at Burtonsville Baptist Church is guided by our purpose statement:

"The purpose of Burtonsville Baptist Church is to introduce Jesus to those who don't know Him, and to mature those who have trusted Him as Savior and Lord."

We accomplish our purpose through ongoing and special ministries, including:

• Weekly worship, praise and prayer opportunities


• Weekly Bible study and fellowship for all ages


• Periodic support groups including emotional and spiritual healing and recovery


• Ongoing activities especially created for kids


• Unique mentoring relationships to help each other grow in our relationship and walk with our Lord
