Vacation Bible School 2008 -- Outrigger Island!

We had a fantastic time with you again this year at Vacation Bible School 2008 -- Outrigger Island! Together we enjoyed a week of knowing, speaking and living God's truth "aloha-style!" Here's some of what we discovered each night:

Opening Celebration - Each night featured songs, our theme, VBS Scripture (Psalm 86:11), and a special offering that went to help children and families in need through the Baptist Family and Children's Service.

Teaching Time - Age-appropriate lessons helped kids develop the stability they need to face a world of shifting sands and wavering opinions... God is trustworthy and faithful!

Crafts - Would it be VBS without crafts? We don't think so!

Recreation - Always fun, the recreation team had kids playing outside almost every night.

Snack Time! - Oh yeah... let there be snacks! Crusty creations from the kitchen team... enough for everyone!

Mission Lookout - Each night we visited another island and learned how God is using missionaries there to share the love of Jesus and the message of the Gospel.

The week went fast and Vacation Bible School is over for 2008, but you don't have to miss out on friends and learning about God and His Son with us... check out Sunday School and the other opportunities during the week!
