Winter's here... come inside for our January Adult Bible Study, Stories for Life: Parables of the Kingdom in Matthew

This January Bible Study focuses on what Matthew called the kingdom of heaven and what elsewhere in Scripture is referred to as the kingdom of God. After this study, you'll have a better understanding of the kingdom as well as of the parables in the Gospel of Matthew that focus on it. You'll see how to enter and live in the kingdom as well as how to await its consumation.

Since we didn't meet for worship this Sunday morning, I wanted to send along a small, snow-inspired devotion to you...

 
Five Lessons from the Snow Storm

 
1. God is powerful over all of Creation.

Tonight the kids take the stage with "Mystery of the Manger: It's the Gospel Truth!"

We'll follow an investigative reporter for The Morning Star as her questions and searching make headlines on Christmas morning. As she observes rehearsal for the Christmas Eve pageant, the children teach her through their songs that "Like the Wise Men" she's searching for the truth, and that the Gospel accounts of Jesus' life are "The Gospel Truth."

Bring the family and enjoy our adult & children's choir presentation of "Only Love" this Christmas season.

Pastor Justin has shared his passion for the family with us, and this month we get to reflect that passion. 
Pastor Justin's messages will focus on the family, and two special family nights are scheduled in 
November. The first is Sunday Family Funday, and it takes place Sunday, November 15th starting at 5pm, 
so if you're looking for the BBC family Sunday night, you'll know where we are!

As always, the Halloween Alternative is free--It’s our gift to you, so come by and enjoy the night. All we ask is that you remain with the children you bring, and please, no scary costumes! In case of inclement weather, we'll move the games and goodies inside.
