So you'll know who's shaking your hand the next time we see you, here's a look at some of the people God has placed in leadership positions at Burtonsville Baptist Church:

 

We're pleased to have Thom Thornton serving as our interim Pastor along with his wife, Lori, his daughter, Katie and their high-energy son, David (a chip off the ol' block!)... Pastor Thom also serves as Missionary for Evangelism at the Baptist Convention of of Maryland /Delaware. Terry Hendricks

You'll see Terry leading our worship team, choir and congregation every Sunday, and directing our drama and musical presentations throughout the year. Terry's passion is a genuine worship relationship with our Lord--a passion she brings to her leadership role. To discover the "real" Terry, start by asking her husband for her Southern Gospel album she recorded at age seventeen...

Julie McGrath

Julie is another busy worker, keeping our important Bible teaching ministries on task and fruitful. You'll find her heading Sunday School Leadership meetings, overseeing our mentoring program and coordinating special support and study group events. Married to the hardest working man in church ministry, Julie's happy if she finds time to curl-up with a good book. If you spot her running around the neighborhood, there's an even chance she's after her teenage son or her giant Labrador, Toby.
